How to add a Tesco Travel Money Card to Google Pay
To add a Tesco Travel Money Card to Google Pay, just follow these simple steps:

Adding your Tesco Travel Money Card to your Google Wallet is straightforward.
1. First, register your Tesco Travel Money Card in the Tesco Travel Money Card app.
2. Next, the app will prompt you to add your card to your Google Wallet. To do this, click on the link on the app's home screen.
3. Finally, follow the onscreen instructions. They'll guide you through the rest of the process.

No, not at the moment. You can use your Tesco Travel Money Card to pay for things from your Google Wallet. However, you can’t yet add currency to your card through Google Pay.
The Tesco Travel Money App still offers the fastest way to add funds to your Tesco Travel Money Card. And you can add funds in the app using any major credit or debit card.
First, register your card and sign in. Then tap the Top up button and follow the steps to add funds.

No. There are no additional charges when using your Tesco Travel Money Card with Google Pay. It just means you can use your phone to pay instead of using your physical card. But only the standard Tesco Travel Money Card fees and charges apply.
Yes. It's always best to carry your Tesco Travel Money Card with you, even if you use your Google Wallet most of the time.
Some places might not accept contactless or mobile payments. If you have your card with you, you'll still be able to spend your travel money, wherever Mastercard Prepaid is accepted.
You can use Google Pay to spend any currency you've added to your Tesco Travel Money Card.
Google Pay works the same way as your Tesco Travel Money Card. It’ll automatically use the correct currency as long as you have enough funds in that currency.
If you don’t have enough funds in the required currency, payment will be taken in priority order from your Tesco Travel Money Card. If this happens, extra fees may apply.
The priority order is:
GBP, EUR, USD, AUD, CAD, NZD, ZAR, TRY, CHF, AED, MXN, PLN, SEK, JPY, THB, HKD, SGD.
Sign in to your Google account and use Find My Phone to lock your phone. If you want, you can also delete your data at this point. Locking your phone will prevent it using Google Pay.
If you're concerned about your Tesco Travel Money Card, please sign in to My Account or sign in to the app. There, you can suspend your card quickly and easily.
Manage your card online
To suspend your card online:
- Sign in to My Account and click on card settings
- Click on the suspend card button. You'll need to confirm this by clicking a second suspend card button.
- After a few seconds, you should see the message card status: SUSPENDED. That means your card has been temporarily frozen. It’ll stay that way until you unsuspend it following the same instructions.
Manage your card in the app
To suspend your card in the Tesco Travel Money Card app:
- Sign in and tap freeze
- Tap on the freeze button. This’ll suspend your card
- You’ll see the message Your card is frozen and can't be used. You can unfreeze your card by tapping the button below.
